First Eurasian Economic Forum

 

The meeting was also attended by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich. The forum moderator is Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, member of the Presidium of the EAEU Business Council.

The Eurasian Economic Forum, established by the decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and timed to coincide with the meeting of the SEEC, is held in order to further develop economic cooperation between the member states of the Eurasian Economic Community.

The key theme of the EEF in 2022 in Bishkek is “Eurasian economic integration in an era of global change. New opportunities for investment activity”. Promising directions for the strategic development of integration, deepening interaction in the industrial, energy, transport, financial, and digital environment are discussed.
