Tatarstan plans to cooperate with the travel company Al Rais from the UAE

During a working visit to the United Arab Emirates, the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the leadership of the Al Rais travel company. This was reported on March 29 by the press service of the head of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The parties discussed the development of cooperation and promising areas for further cooperation.

According to Minnikhanov, unique objects of national, cultural and historical heritage are concentrated in the republic, including three UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
“We consider the tourism industry as one of the most important sectors of the economy of our republic,” he stressed.

A lot of work is being done in Tatarstan to develop tourism infrastructure and increase direct flights. Minnikhanov noted the good experience of cooperation with another airline that has been flying to Kazan for many years.
“We would be glad to have the opportunity to cooperate with your company,” the head of Tatarstan addressed the leadership of Al Rais.

REGNUM recalls that in Kazan, in 2021, the tourist flow approached the figures for 2018 (3.2 million tourists).
