Tajikistan and Russia discussed issues of strengthening partnership between business communities

Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia Davlatshokh Gulmakhmadzoda met with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Sergey Katyrin.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on ways to strengthen partnership between the business communities of Tajikistan and Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan reported.

D. Gulmakhmadzoda and S. Katyrin noted the need to hold business forums and industry exhibitions, in which entrepreneurs of the two countries would consider the possibility of increasing trade turnover and exchanging experience.

In this regard, the parties paid special attention to the issue of increasing the export of goods from Tajikistan to Russia.

In conclusion, the interlocutors expressed their mutual attitude and readiness to assist in the intensification of Tajik-Russian business contacts in order to strengthen trade, economic and investment cooperation.
