Russia and Qatar will take steps to support trade

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that steps had been agreed with Qatar to maintain mutual trade. The minister held talks with his colleague from Qatar, Mohammed bin Abderrahman Al Thani.
“We agreed on additional steps that we will take to maintain a positive trend in trade, to develop investment cooperation in accordance with the agreements reached by the President of Russia and the Emir of Qatar,” Lavrov said on March 14 during a press conference.
Lavrov noted that the parties are interested in coordinating actions on the energy market.
As REGNUM reported, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian will discuss the state of negotiations on the nuclear deal at a meeting in Moscow.
