Kuzbass manufacturers presented their products at the international exhibition in the UAE

“Today Kuzbass ranks 4th among all regions of the country in terms of export volumes. In monetary terms, this is more than $ 10 billion. At the same time, the share of non-primary goods in the total export volume is only 27%. Today we see a serious task ahead of us in the development of non-resource exports, mainly at the expense of agro-industrial and food products.

We are ready to provide support to Kuzbass manufacturers from small and medium-sized businesses that are already exporting or are just planning to enter foreign markets – placement on international electronic trading platforms, training in the basics of export activities, participation in international exhibitions and business missions. All this makes it possible for Kuzbass business to find new sales markets for its products, to develop itself and develop the region’s economy, ”said Sergey Vashchenko, Deputy Chairman of the Kuzbass Government for Economic Development of Kuzbass.

The Kuzbass delegation included three companies: producers of products from Siberian wild plants “KEDR EXPORT” (brand “Sibirochka”); individual entrepreneur Andrey Zavgorodnev (brand “Greetings from Siberia”); honey producer, individual entrepreneur Leonid Malyshev (Grandfather and Grandchildren brand).

On the first day of the exhibition, representatives of the Presidential Administration of the United Arab Emirates visited the Kuzbass stand. In total, within the framework of SIAL Middle East – 2021, more than 50 business meetings were held, at which preliminary agreements on cooperation were reached.
