Halal products from the South Urals will be delivered to the UAE and Saudi Arabia

The expansion of the range of the South Ural enterprise “Ravis” will allow the region to take new positions in exports. This company for the first time in the South Urals received a certificate for the production of Halal products in 2007 from the Halal Standards Committee under the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic and since then has been producing 10 percent of such products.

– There is a special relationship with this product. There are requests for it from the countries of the Middle East, there is a constant demand in the countries of Central Asia. We are already supplying it to Kazakhstan, Tatarstan, now negotiations are underway on deliveries to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, – says Andrey Ishmametyev, Finance Director of Ravis – Sosnovskaya Poultry Farm LLC.

According to the production, today “Halal” is a confirmation of quality. The approach to such products is special, traditional. So, for example, a chicken is manually slaughtered here by a Muslim man over 18 years old. Special knives are used that did not come into contact with the meat of another line.

The Middle East market is attracting more and more manufacturers due to the growing demand. In the South Urals, another company is interested in selling Halal-quality goods – this is the Triumph confectionery factory. Now the enterprise produces 28 types of goods only from ingredients with such a distinction. Soon the countries of Central Asia and the Middle East will also be supplied with South Ural muffins, muffins and cookies.
