Gazprom Neft presented progressive developments at a conference in the UAE
Progressive developments for oil production and digital projects were presented by Gazprom Neft at the ATCE international conference in the United Arab Emirates. A few years ago, a Russian company bought technology abroad, and now it has reached such a level that it itself offers its developments to partners. Gazprom Neft notes that many of the challenges that oilmen in the Middle East are just beginning to face today have already been resolved for the Russian company, and it is ready to share its experience and invite you to new partnerships.
“Not many companies do this. Not many are ready to disclose their internal products. We have reached the stage of technological maturity, when we have something to offer. This is not only direct participation as an operator in the fields, but also a very flexible product offer. We are ready to provide both a service on a separate digital product and a more comprehensive offer to the customer, ”Vadim Yakovlev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Neft, told Russia 24.“ This can be turnkey drilling management, it can be integrated field development. In general, I believe that we represent not only our capabilities, our experience, we integrate everything that local companies can get from the Russian market. ”
Yakovlev noted that the Russian technology market is very competitive, developed and self-sufficient.
“We hear, we feel that Middle Eastern companies are interested in expanding their supply chains,” he added.
The countries of the Middle East are currently starting to develop low-permeability oil and gas deposits. Therefore, Gazprom Neft’s expertise in developing hard-to-recover reserves may come in handy.
“First of all, I would like to thank Gazprom Neft for your participation. Your participation was really important for the conference. Our experts highly appreciated the technical level of Gazprom Neft’s developments. We hope for future cooperation. We have learned a lot about Gazprom Neft. In industry it is difficult to succeed without interaction, “said Ali Jarvan, General Chair of the SPE ATCE Conference.
One of the examples presented at the company’s stand is new superhard materials created by Gazprom Neft in partnership with the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. Substances belonging to the group of higher tungsten borides are comparable in density to diamonds, withstand temperatures up to 2000 Celsius and are cheap to manufacture. They will significantly increase the reliability and service life of drilling equipment, in particular, when working in the conditions of the fields in the Middle East.
