Dubai Airshow 2021 opens in UAE

DUBAI, Nov.15 / Xinhua / – The five-day international Dubai Airshow 2021 opened on Sunday at Al Maktoum Airport in Dubai, the largest city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). More than 1200 enterprises of the aerospace industry from 148 countries and regions of the world took part in it. Over 160 aircraft are presented at the airshow. The event is expected to welcome over 80,000 visitors.

According to the organizers of Dubai Airshow 2021, a series of scientific and technical conferences and forums on the aerospace industry will be held on the sidelines of the air show, the participants of which will discuss topics such as artificial intelligence, 5G, cybersecurity and autopilot. In addition, air force aerobatic teams from the UAE, Russia, Saudi Arabia and India will air show. During the air show, renowned international manufacturers of civil and military aircraft will be able to sign contracts with airlines from different countries.

China Aviation Industry Corporation / AVIC / is participating in the current air show.

The Dubai Airshow 2021 has been held since 1989 and is one of the most influential air shows in the Middle East.
