DIPLOMATS FROM RUSSIA AND THE UAE DISCUSSED ISSUES OF BILATERAL RELATIONS

Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and UAE Ambassador to Moscow Mohammed Ahmed al-Jaber discussed issues of bilateral relations on Monday, including a schedule of upcoming bilateral events.

“During the conversation, topical issues of the progressive development of multifaceted Russian-Emirati relations were discussed, including the schedule of upcoming bilateral events,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

On Smolenskaya Square, they added that in the context of coordinating the positions of Russia and the UAE in the UN, an exchange of views took place on certain international issues with an emphasis on the state of affairs in Yemen and Libya.

The meeting was held at the request of the Emirati diplomat.
