PSU AND EL AIN UNIVERSITY FROM UAE WILL EXCHANGE STUDENTS

In October this year, the Penza delegation visited Al Ain University, and on December 16, PSU hosted online presentations of a university from the United Arab Emirates and Penza State University.

According to the PSU press service, the meeting was opened by the rector of the Penza State University, Alexander Gulyakov, who spoke about the history of the university and its employees, honorary graduates, gave data on the university campus, its academic buildings, dormitories, countries participating in joint research, the program of academic mobility, levels preparation of students and geography of applicants.

During the meeting, a discussion of possible areas of cooperation took place, including academic mobility of students, internships for teachers and staff, joint research and publications in the journals “Scopus”, “Web of Science”, organization of joint scientific and cultural events.

As part of partnership relations, PSU intends to use the Russian-Arab cultural center, created in 2020, which is aimed at promoting two cultures. University President Dr. Galeb Awad El-Refai expressed his readiness to accept Russian students to study the Arabic language, and also discussed with the rector of PSU plans for joint work in the development of a center for the study of Russian as a foreign language at the University of Al Ain.
