The Federal Air Transport Agency issued temporary permits for a period of three months to airlines to operate international flights from Yekaterinburg. Thus, Rossiya Airlines can operate daily flights to Nur-Sultan and Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan). Rossiya can fly to Tashkent (Uzbekistan) twice a week. Red Wings has received permission to operate flights twice a week from Koltsovo to Sharjah (UAE). At the same time, the airline was denied admission to flights from Yekaterinburg to Tashkent, follows from materials from the website of the Federal Air Transport Agency. Note that the issuance of permits does not mean that flights will be launched.<\/p>\n
As Kommersant-Ural previously reported, Ural Airlines extended the suspension of flights from Russia to Azerbaijan until April 30, to Armenia until April 25, and to Kazakhstan until April 28. Previously, the company also temporarily canceled all flights to the UAE, Israel, Egypt and Thailand.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, Koltsovo Airport switched to a spring-summer flight schedule. It is valid until October 29th. During this period, more than 90 destinations will be operated from Yekaterinburg, they will be carried out by 28 airlines.<\/p>\n
Due to Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, the European Union has banned European companies from supplying, leasing, maintaining and insuring aircraft in Russia. Abroad arrested 78 aircraft of Russian airlines. In total, Russia had 1,367 aircraft at the time of the imposition of sanctions. President Vladimir Putin allowed the transfer of settlements with lessors of aircraft from unfriendly countries into rubles.<\/p>\n
