The United Arab Emirates now has the technical ability to accept cards from the Mir payment system, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the system’s statement.<\/p>\n
Reportedly, merchants that are clients of the region’s largest e-commerce company, Network International, can now accept Mir payment cards.<\/p>\n
Now the organization is actively connecting payment terminals in Dubai and other regions of the country. The set-up of all terminals for accepting Russian cards is planned to be completed by the end of the year.<\/p>\n
By the way, in Russia, the majority of benefits and pensions come to the Mir cards. Thus, from October 1, monthly payments in connection with the birth of a child, which are received by families with low income, began to arrive on Mir cards. If the parents do not have a Mir card, the funds are credited to a bank account, and they can be received at the cash desk or by postal order.<\/p>\n
